Garner signs to play sand volleyball at Long Beach St.

Ariana Garner has accepted a scholarship to play Sand Volleyball for Long Beach State. The sophomore from Carmichael, Calif., was a setter on the 2012-13 SBCC indoor women's volleyball teams, earning first-team All-WSC honors in 2012.

Orange Coast rallies past Vaqueros in Regional opener

After trailing for most of the night, Orange Coast took control with a 17-3 run in the third set and went on to upset SBCC 3-2 in the opening round of the Southern Cal Regional women’s volleyball playoffs. The scores were 17-25, 17-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-12.

Vaqueros seeded 7th, will host Orange Coast

SBCC was seeded No. 7 for the Southern Cal Regional women's volleyball playoffs and will host No. 10 Orange Coast (14-6) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Vaqueros sweep Cuesta for third straight WSC title

SBCC built solid leads in each set on Wednesday and went on to sweep Cuesta 25-18, 25-13, 25-15 on Sophomore Night to secure its third straight WSC North women’s volleyball title at the Sports Pavilion.

Kaitlyn Clemann collected 11 kills and Katelynn Womack had a double-double with 10 kills and 18 digs on Wednesday night, leading No. 12 SBCC to a 3-0 women’s volleyball sweep at No. 20 Moorpark in a battle for first in the WSC North. The scores were 25-21, 25-21, 25-14.

Katelynn Womack led a balanced attack with 11 kills on Halloween night and SBCC swept past Hancock in 73 minutes in a WSC North women’s volleyball match at the Sports Pavilion. The scores were 25-17, 25-14, 25-14.
