Santa Barbara City College student-athletes are proud to serve their community. In addition to their pursuits on the field and in the classroom, our student-athletes are focused on becoming well-rounded individuals who make the world better.

Baseball, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball Welcomes McKinley Students
Three different Vaquero programs celebrated "Magnificent Monday" at McKinley Elementary School on March 23, 2026. Santa Barbara City College student-athletes from Baseball, Women's Basketball, and Men's Basketball–led by Student Athlete Advisory Committee chair Michael Gamboa–crossed Cliff Drive at 8 a.m., welcoming students to their school week with some inspiration and energy.
Vaquero Football Takes Annual Visit To Harding School
As they do every year, some members of the Vaquero Football team read to Harding's University Partnership School students–a meangingful experience for both the young students and student-athletes. The Football program is proud to do work in the Santa Barbara community, particularly its schools. Linebacker Anthony Artis, tight end Aidan Woods, and quarterback Brooks Trimmer were a few to participate in 2026 in one of Santa Barbara City College Athletics' proudest traditions.

Women's Basketball at McKinley Elementary School for High Five Friday. High fives, big hearts, and even bigger smiles! Our athletes brought the energy and spirit to the community at the High Five event — proving that teamwork goes way beyond the game!
