Sofia Paez, Women's Water Polo Win 2024-25 3C2A Scholar Awards

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The 2024 Santa Barbara City College Women's Water Polo team is still collecting accolades more than a year after their final game. The Vaqueros won the title of 2024-25 3C2A Scholar Team for the sport of Women's Water Polo, and Sofia Paez was one of 22 student-athletes from all sports to make the 3C2A Scholar Athlete Honor Roll, announced by the association on Monday.

Paez made the list for her "excellence in academics, athletics, and citizenship from the 2024-25 academic year." She and the Women's Water Polo program will be celebrated during the Scholar-Athlete Luncheon at the annual 3C2A Convention hosted by the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank on Wednesday, Apr. 1.
