Bio
Joining the Vaquero Staff in 2025, Kenzie discovered her passion for coaching while helping run youth volleyball camps, while still an active student athlete. “My passion as a coach goes beyond the game. I love teaching my athletes how to be not only great players, but great people. My goal is to help them grow in confidence, character, and leadership so they can succeed both on and off the court.”
Kenzie was a standout Libero for Lewis-Clark State College, where she finished second all-time in program history in career digs. As a four-year team captain, she earned numerous awards such as CSC Academic All-District, Academic All-Cascade Conference and Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete. In her fifth year season, she interned under the head volleyball coach at Lewis-Clark State College, gaining hands-on experience in player development and program operations.
Kenzie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Health. She then returned to Timberlake High School—her alma mater—as a Varsity Assistant Coach, where she played a key role in revitalizing the volleyball program and helping restore its long-standing tradition of success.
Coach Niksto said, “We are excited to welcome Coach Kenzie to the Vaquero Family! She brings a youthful energy, tons of on-court experience, and a true passion for the game and coaching.”
