GOLETA, Calif. – The No. 6-ranked Santa Barbara City College women's volleyball team bested Cuesta College 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-13) at Robertson Gymnasium on Wednesday.

"I thought throughout the match we played better and better, which is always nice to see," said head coach Kat Niksto. "Everyone was firing on all cylinders offensively as I think we may have hit our highest team hitting percentage last night."
Stephanie Groswirt once again displayed her versatility with 17 assists, nine kills, five digs and an ace, while Morgan Guardado supplied 21 assists, 11 digs and three aces.
"Credit to both setters Stephanie and Morgan for running a great offense," said Niksto.

"Sanae came in late and games two and three and was productive off the bench," said Niksto.
SBCC improves to 12-1 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. They return to Robertson Gymnasium on Friday to host Moorpark at 6 p.m.
