Shimizu, Wigzell take sixth and seventh on Day 2 of State Meet

Kelee Shimizu placed sixth in the 200 free on Friday afternoon and Hana Wigzell was seventh in the 400 IM as SBCC remained in ninth place after Day 2 of the CCCAA Women’s State Swimming & Diving Championships at De Anza College in Cupertino.

Hana Wigzell, a freshman from Sandy, Oregon, made first-team All-WSC in three individual events and four relays.
14 Vaqueros make All-WSC in numerous events

Fourteen members of the SBCC women's swimming and diving team made the All-Western State Conference team in a multitude of events.

SBCC went 26-0 to claim its fifth straight WSC title. The Vaqueros have 114 straight WSC wins and are 128-4 in conference in their six seasons.

Vaqueros stretch lead to 123 on Day 2 of WSC Championships

SBCC didn’t have any individual wins on Friday but still managed to expand its lead to 123 points on Day 2 of the WSC women’s swimming & diving championships at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center.

Parson sparks Vaqueros to first-day lead in WSC Championships

Sarah Parson held her breath to secure a victory in the 50 freestyle and the 400 medley relay held off Ventura as SBCC grabbed the first-day lead in the WSC women’s swimming & diving championships at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center.
