Hannah Martin got the assist for the Vaqueros (5-3-2), who maintained their hold on first in conference with a 2-0-1 mark. Pierce is 5-2-4 and 1-0-1.
The Vaqueros had 13 shots and 10 of those were on goal.
"We outplayed them," said coach John Sisterson. "If we had taken care of business, it could have been 3-0 or 4-0. Lena Gustafsson had three good chances in the last 15 minutes and Sandy was constantly attacking on the flank."
The Vaqueros will play at Moorpark on Friday at 4 p.m., then return home to face Cuesta on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
