4 Vaqueros make All-State Scholar-Athlete

Four members of the SBCC women’s soccer team have been named to the inaugural 2013 State Soccer Scholar-Athlete team. Brandie Harris, the WSC Player of the Year, made the team, along with Heather Rivera, Jackie Holmer and Mackenzie Rios.

Four members of the SBCC women's soccer team have been named to the inaugural 2013 State Scholar-Athlete team. Brandie Harris, the WSC Player of the Year, made the team, along with Heather Rivera, Jackie Holmer and Mackenzie Rios.

Harris set a new school record with 30 goals and tied the single-season mark of 64 points. She accepted a scholarship to Cal State San Bernardino, along with Rivera.

The California Community College Soccer Coaches Association (CCCSCA) gave the award to athletes who completed at least 24 semester or 36 quarter units and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
