Four student-athletes from the SBCC women’s basketball team signed with four-year schools on Thursday to continue playing from coast to coast.

Destinee King poured in 30 points with 15 rebounds and five blocks. She posted her 16th double-double for the second straight year and led the WSC North in scoring (21.8), rebounding (11.7) and blocked shots (2.1).

Jocelin Petatan, a 5-7 sophomore from Santa Barbara High, had 11 points and four rebounds on Thursday night. She's averages 7.7 points and 7.5 rebounds while leading the squad in FG shooting (48.8%) and steals (2.2).

Jada Clark scored a season-high 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as SBCC used a fast start to cruise past Victor Valley 89-71 in the MTXE Mini Crossover women’s basketball tournament at the Sports Pavilion.

Jocelin Petatan (#11), a 5-7 sophomore guard, had 13 points and a career-high 18 rebounds.

SBCC set a school record with 29 first-quarter points on Saturday and went on to beat San Diego City 81-71 to go 2-0 in the SBCC Crossover women’s basketball tournament.

Alyssa Cosio, who played on the 2014-15 Vaquero squad, scored 11 points and hit a jumper to ignite a 15-2 third-quarter burst.
