Glendale built a 2-0 halftime lead on Tuesday night and held on for a 2-0 WSC men's soccer victory over visiting SBCC. Both teams use the nickname "Vaqueros."
Glendale scored in the 7th and 34th minutes to improve to 4-3-2 overall and 3-1-1 in conference. The SBCC Vaqueros fell to 5-3-1 and 1-2-1.
"We were poor defensively and we need to tidy that up," said SBCC coach John Sisterson. "Again, we had a lot of chances but we couldn't finish."
Santa Barbara will host L.A. Mission on Friday at 2 p.m.
