Adam Colton, a sophomore midfielder from England, has been selected as men’s soccer Player of the Year in the Western State Conference.
SBCC's Adam Colton, a sophomore midfielder from England, has been selected as men's soccer Player of the Year in the Western State Conference.
He scored two goals and distributed a team-high eight assists for the Vaqueros (11-7, 11-5), who finished second in conference behind Oxnard.
Midfielder Jamie Sporcic, the Vaqueros' top scorer with 11 goals and four assists, was a first-team All-WSC choice, along with defender George Wakefield and forwards Dylan Murphy and Vicente Perez.
Omar Montalvo and Cody Lucas received second-team honors and Mehdi Badache and Liron Cohen were honorable mention.
