Bio
Jordan is in his first season with the Vaqueros and he'll work with the hitters and infielders.
He is a Colorado native and graduated with a B.A. in Human Performance from Metro State University of Denver. At Metro State, the first baseman and third baseman was a 3-time All-RMAC selection, an NCAA all-region selection, and a first-team Rawlings NCAA Regional Gold Glove recipient. He holds the single-season home run record (17), ranks second all-time in career homers (35) and third all-time in RBIs in the program’s 46-year history.
Coach Stouffer played a season of professional baseball, including a stint in the Frontier League. After finishing his playing career, Jordan became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and started his own hitting instruction and sports training business. As a hitting instructor, he has worked with numerous collegiate and professional players. Coach Stouffer has advised youth and high school baseball programs on best practices for injury prevention, movement foundations, and performance improvement.
His coaching experience includes being an assistant coach for the Colorado/Utah/Wyoming area Atlanta Braves Fall Scout Team, which develops and showcases some of the top talent in the region. He was also a hitting coach at Rocky Mountain High in Colorado. Rocky Mountain won the 2014 5A State championship, was the 2013 State runner-up and was nationally ranked.
Jordan is a graduate of Rocky Mountain High where he was part of the 2007 State championship squad and made the All-State team.
He resides in the Santa Barbara area with his wife Caitlin.
