Anna Watkins placed second and Erika Muehring took fourth in the WSC 3-meter diving final on Saturday at El Camino College.

Hancock's Kailey Roux won the event with 181.65 points. Watkins was second with 115.20 and Muehring was fourth with 112.15.

"Anna and Erika gave a strong finish on 3 meter, considering that they only had a few practices on the 3-meter board," said Vaquero diving coach Trish Salvatore. "It was so rewarding as a coach to see them finish so well in the standings. I am very proud of them, they have come so far and will go further because of their tremendous will and spirit."
