Ventura downs Vaqueros, 8-1

SBCC finally got back on the courts on Tuesday after multiple rain postponements and Ventura spoiled the Vaqueros' return to Pershing Park with an 8-1 WSC men's tennis victory.

Dominic Mariscal got the only win for SBCC, rallying to take the No. 6 singles 4-6, 6-4, 10-2 in the tiebreaker.

Santa Barbara is 4-5 and 2-2 in conference. Ventura is 6-3 and 2-2.

The Vaqueros will travel to Irvine Valley for a non-conference match on Thursday at 2 p.m.
